When Barnson opened its doors in 1992, it was to develop a business in regional NSW to rival the best multidisciplinary engineering consultancies in the major metropolitan centres. We recognised that to do that we needed to deliver personalised service and uncompromising quality to our clients.
Today, Barnson has achieved that goal by investing heavily in the areas that we believe will deliver the desired outcomes; our systems, processes, and team. These three areas combined ensure that our quality systems are recognised by the highest quality standards; ISO 9001-2000 and NATA Australia. Our internal quality control processes guarantee that our work is technically sound, meeting legal and technical requirements.
The Barnson team is dedicated to a collaborative, solutions based approach to our work. We value our people as the integral part of our business. We aim to develop and nurture our staff to retain them and provide career pathways.
Today, Barnson is steered by three Directors who bring many years’ experience in engineering and business management to the table:
Richard Noonan is one of Barnson’s original founders and in 2009 moved to Bathurst to oversee expanding operations in the area.
Luke Morris became a director in 1997, and in 2000 he relocated to Mudgee to oversee business development there.
Jim Sarantzouklis joined as a Director in 2008 after long service in the Senior Management team.
Together, they work to provide the strategic vision to grow Barnson and to ensure that the business stays true to its core values as a positive, progressive, professional, profitable, and above all a friendly place to work.
We have come a long way since our humble beginnings. Barnson has developed into a full-service, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy business, offering a level of technical expertise that few others in regional NSW can offer in one place.
