Three new members who have joined the Barnson team this year have given the team a real boost, with their diversity in age and experience complementing the existing skill set of our Dubbo and Bathurst offices. One is working in our Dubbo soil testing lab in his gap year, with the other two are student engineeers with our Bathurst team.
Grant Barker (left) is an undergraduate engineer who recently started in our Bathurst branch part-time. Grant brings a practical construction perspective to the team, after working for 12 years as a builder. He is studying a Bachelor of Technology/Masters in Civil Systems at Charles Sturt University.
Ryan McLeod (centre) completed Year 12 at Dubbo's St Johns College in 2015 and decided to take a year off and work after the HSC. Before beginning a Bachelor of Civil Engineering in 2016, Ryan is spending his gap year working in our Dubbo soil testing laboratory. He is learning vital skills working with our team that will give him a significant advantage when he begins his degree.
Zac Daymond (right) is in his eighth and final year of university, where he is studying a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours through the University of Central Queensland. Zac is also working in our Bathurst branch in a full-time position after nearly eight years spent working as a draftsperson for other companies.
We welcome these new additions to our team and look forward to their ongoing contribution.
