Five new members who have joined the Barnson team this year have given the team a real boost, with their diversity in age and experience complementing the existing skill set of our Dubbo and Bathurst offices.

Shannon Dawson is the new Registered Surveyor based in the Bathurst Office. Shannon has 15 years’ experience in the private sector as a Consulting Surveyor, undertaking development projects for both private and public sector clients both in Sydney and the Central West. He has just returned from Western Australia after five years working in the mining sector for a large-scale open cut mining project in the Pilbara.

Erika Dawson is a Senior Town Planner and Bushfire Consultant with more than 16 years’ experience in the private and public sectors. She has recently returned to the Central West after four and a half years working in Western Australia and is now working in our Bathurst branch full time.

Danusha Egodawatte is a Civil Engineering graduate from Sri Lanka, based in Brisbane for the past three years.  Dan has five years of experience in building construction and project management and started at Dubbo as a Civil/Structural Engineer.

Eryn and Jeziah  are from the Northern Territory where they were both born and raised. Being from the tropical north, where the lowest the temperature gets is 16 degrees, their first week in Dubbo was quite a shock, particularly as they had no hot water for the first three days.  They moved to Dubbo to begin a new adventure and try something new! Both work for Jacobs before the move. Jeziah is a Structural Engineer working mostly on bridges, maritime and various other infrastructure and Eryn has been working in an administration role for the past two years.  Both Eryn and Jeziah love working within the same company and looking forward to their future with Barnson.
