Luke is a Director and Principal Civil Engineer with Barnson. Luke is responsible for the quality assurance checking of all civil engineering design. Luke has extensive experience in hydraulic, stormwater, geotechnical, and pavement engineering design for residential, commercial, and government projects.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Arts, University of New England, Armidale
  • Graduate Diploma in Urban and Regional Planning, University of New England
  • Diploma in Environmental Health and Building Surveying, Sydney

Jim is a Director and Principal Town Planner at Barnson, with a wealth of experience in statutory and strategic planning, both as a planning consultant and in the local government sector. He has over 25 years’ experience in Town and Environmental Planning and is also a qualified Health and Building Surveyor. He is a senior Peer reviewer for Quality Assurance purposes.

Kirk has a wide range of knowledge of building, interior, and industrial design. Working within the hospitality, commercial and education sectors, Kirk has successfully delivered numerous award winning projects throughout NSW.

Richard has over 15 years invaluable experience in the Surveying Industry. He has been involved in large engineering projects in Ireland and throughout the State of NSW including rail, mine, roads, tunnels and major engineering projects for residential, commercial and local government projects. Richard has first class analytical and problem-solving skills and is dedicated to maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Chris has over 15 years’ experience working as a consulting Civil and Structural Engineer in Regional NSW and the United Kingdom. He has worked with Barnson on a variety of projects in Regional NSW and the Far West for private, commercial, local, and state government clients.

Karl has over 30 years management and design experience. He is a hands-on, highly technical structural engineer with broad knowledge for design of bridges, tunnels, temporary infrastructure works, multi-level buildings, commercial and industrial developments. Karl’s extensive engineering expertise has been sought by major construction firms, large companies and all levels of Government clients to effectively manage the civil/structural design, verification and review of many major projects.

Nick has over 15 years experience in the management and operations of our NATA accredited materials testing laboratory. Nick coordinates both field and laboratory testing for clients across a range of geotechnical investigations and civil projects.
